Get to Know DIAMOND, April’s Classic Birthstone!

APRIL BIRTHSTONE

April babies get the luxurious diamond as their birthstone, a gemstone that is the pure definition of style, luxury and status. The diamond needs no introduction, but there are two kinds and we want you to know the difference.

Natural diamonds are simply the cream of the crop, which is why our 4.9% discount throughout April is just so crazy. These rare, durable beauties are made of carbon and formed via extreme pressure deep inside Earth’s core for, ohhh, 2 BILLION YEARS, making them some of Mother Nature’s finest gifts. The sheer rarity of real, natural diamonds make them as scarce and exclusive as can possibly be. Natural diamonds are opulence like nothing else.

As you can imagine, natural diamonds do not come cheap. That’s why there is a second, lab grown version of the diamond that makes the luxury accessible to all. They are created in just a few months using High Pressure High Temperature (HPHT) or Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD), both of which imitate the natural creation conditions in a controlled way. Lab grown diamonds are the popular public choice mainly because of price, however this does comparatively lower the value thanks to the market being flooded.

The great thing about both is that it is VERY difficult to tell the difference between lab grown and natural diamonds. Believe us, we are the pros and even we can’t discern them with the naked eye! Lab grown diamonds look and feel just as good as the organic version, and both come in all kinds of colors, including black! The “color enhanced,” lab grown versions make great accent stones for other, softer colors and are great for Mother’s Day.

But in our professional opinion, natural diamonds are the way to go. They are an investment with incredible resale value, and must be treated with care. You have to see them to believe them.
