We loved putting this engagement ring together, and it has so many design choices that would be impossible to achieve with a store-bought ring.
When you come to us with a custom job, we start by asking about your budget and design needs. Then we begin sketching out what the jewelry might look like and advise on what would be best for comfort and balance. Most of the time, however, we can truly bring your dream jewelry to life! We spend time with the customer designing the piece, and then we often put it together in our CAD/CAM program. This helps our customers visualize the jewelry exactly as we do.
If you look closely, you can see the custom scroll work that is hidden in the band, which was designed specifically for this ring. Plus, the customer wanted a woven crown prong setting, which really gives this ring a unique, vintage feel. You can see it more in the photo below. It was exactly what the customer was picturing, so we got to work on bringing it from program to reality.
The center gem used is a gorgeous 7mm white moissanite, which the customer requested instead of a more traditional diamond. Luckily, engagement rings are made with all kinds of gems—colored or not—so we’ve made many with and without a diamond center stone. The customer loved it, and we were so honored to be a part of their engagement story.
